• Electrical testing is an inspection of electrical installations to identify faults that are against current safety standards. Electrical testing may be carried out for a number of reasons, such as; quality assurance tests on electrical components, diagnostic testing, fault finding on electrical plant and routine safety checks.

Electrical Portable Appliance Testing (PAT Testing)

• We provide a Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) service. PAT Testing is a requirement of Health and Safety regulations. It protects the user of electrical equipment by determining whether or not the equipment meets current safety standards. Many types of equipment require testing at regular intevals to ensure continual safety.
• Our service includes preliminary inspection, functional checks, earth continuity and insulation checks.
• After testing, each item of equpment is given a Pass or Fail sticker displaying the date that testing was last carried out.
